Moin, Community. Es gibt bei DDR 4 eine ganze Menge Sachen zu beachten, wenn man die Systemleistung optimieren und die letzten paar FPS rauskitzeln will: (1) Bekannte Kompatibilitätsprobleme zwischen Mainboard und RAM. XMP - Profile laufen bspw. nicht. QVL - Listen prüfen... IMMER vor Kauf...

Wie sieht das denn bei DDR 5 aus? Gibt es da schon verlässliche Erfahrungswerte?

Die Punkte (1) bis (6) aus dem verlinkten Thread sind doch bestimmt auch bei DDR 5 relevant.

Dazu kommt dann vermutlich noch (7) technische Ausgereiftheit von Boards und Modulen, anfängliche Fehlkonstruktionen, die richtig guten und schnellen DDR 5 Module kommen erst Ende 2022 / 2023 / 2024...

Und klar, mit den nächsten Prozessor- und evt. Grafikkartengenerationen muss man sich das alles nochmal neu anschauen - spannend.

Gibt es da schon verlässliche Erfahrungswerte?

Wenn man eine Ryzen 5000 / Intel 12th Gen. CPU benutzt?

Fänd ich supi, wenn wir das mal zusammentragen könnten.
