Es gibt erste Bilder von Asus zum Threadripper Sockel TR4. Über 4000 Pins und Octa Channel soll er bieten. Leider wird das zu teuer für mich .
Noctua hat auch schon erste Kühler gezeigt und die Auflagefläche ist echt Gigantisch .

Das bin ich auch. Hoffe AMD rückt Mal mit der Sprache raus.

Ein günstiger 8 Kerner für die Plattform wäre interessant. So könnte man günstig einsteigen und hätte eine Menge PCIe Lanes. Davon ab sieht es einfach brutal aus mit so einem riesen Sockel im System. Bin Mal auf die Wasserkühler gespannt.

Ja stimmt schon, aber man wird schon eine große "Alditüte" mit Euros investieren müssen, um das X399 Board anständig zu bestücken.
8 Speicherbänke füllen wird zudem auch ordentlich ins Geld gehen.

Aber ich bin gespannt was da alles kommen wird.

Also er soll wohl doch nur Quad Channel unterstützen. So braucht man nur 4 Riegel. Die Boards werden bestimmt 300€ aufwärts kosten. Der grosse Sockel kostet wahrscheinlich einiges.

Ich habe 1.5 installiert, daneben gibt es ja noch das 1.5.2 beta.
